Compliance
The contracts, how deposits are screened, and what Hushwave can and cannot do with your funds.
Contracts
Hushwave runs on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). The pool contract cannot be upgraded; these are the addresses it uses, read from the pool itself.

Deposit screening
Every deposit is checked against the U.S. Treasury's sanctions list (OFAC SDN) before it joins the pool. The list is refreshed twice a day, and until a complete list has loaded nobody is cleared: a deposit waits rather than passes.
A refused deposit goes back in full to the address it came from. While a deposit waits, its sender can take it back at any time. An address on the pool's block list cannot deposit at all.
Withdrawal destinations
Sanctioned addresses are also written to the pool's own block list. A withdrawal to one of them is refused on chain, whether it comes through the relayer or straight from a wallet, and a relayer on that list cannot be paid a fee.
What the operator can do
- Can
- Pause new deposits and sends, list assets, set fees within the 1% cap, name the screener. The screener can delay or refuse deposits (refunded in full) and block withdrawal destinations.
- Cannot
- Move or freeze notes, pause withdrawals, or change the pool contract.
Records
Everything the pool does is on chain: each deposit with its sender and amount, each withdrawal with its recipient and amount, and every change to the block list. Hushwave has no sign-up, so it holds no names, emails or passwords.
